Bradenton is home to a wide variety of cuisines, including Cajun/low country, seafood, Cuban, Italian and beachfront hole-in-the-walls. Linger Lodge
was named one of the "Top Ten Most Unusual Restaurants in the World" by
Forbes Magazine, and the restaurant has well-earned a spot on that
list. Every square inch of Linger Lodge is covered in preserved local
animals, including fish, local birds, and full-size alligators. Don't
let the dead animal decor fool you into thinking this restaurant is just
a tourist trap, however; the Linger Lodge serves up delicious Southern
swamp-inspired fare at reasonable prices. Try sharing the Linger Lodge's
signature River Sampler Platter, which comes piled with fried green
tomatoes, chicken-fried frog legs, and fried alligator tail.
